STEP 1 Choose your course
Choose the course you would like to study from the Course Information section.

 

STEP 2 Check entry requirements
Ensure that you meet the entry requirements of the course you have chosen Evidence of academic and English language requirements must be attached to your application..

 

STEP 3 Lodge an Application
You can apply online or download application form at https://ict.edu.au/apply/ . You can also obtain a hard copy application form from our registered education agents or the Ironwood campus. The application form lists the documents you need to submit.

Evidence of academic and English language requirements must be attached to your application. The documents must be in English or certified English translated copy if in any other language.

Completed Application along with Certified Copies of the essential documents can be mailed, emailed, faxed or hand delivered to:

Alternatively, you may submit the completed application to your agent and they will help you with this process. Students will be selected in a manner that reflects access and equity principles. The assessment process can take up to 10 days. Successful applicants will receive a Letter of Offer. Based on the assessment a Conditional Letter of Offer may be issued in some cases. Please follow the instructions on the Letter of Offer and pay tuition fees and other related information.

 

STEP 4 Receive your Letter of Offer
If your application for enrolment is successful, you will receive a Letter of Offer and Offer Acceptance and Student Agreement form stating the full details of the course, tuition and other fees to be paid, mode of payment, course commencement dates and information on overseas student health cover (OSHC), refund policy and your right and obligations.

All offers are issued conditional on availability of places at Ironwood and assessment of Genuine Temporary Entrant (GTE). Applicants can only be guaranteed placement on acceptance and full payment of initial deposit with minimum of 60 days prior to course commencement date.

 

STEP 5 Accept your offer and pay your initial deposit of fee
The Letter of Offer explains any conditions to be met and the steps you need to take to accept your offer. Once you have met all conditions of letter of offer, you can submit your signed acceptance and student agreement and pay your initial deposit of fee directly to Ironwood Institute. Ironwood will issue a Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE). The Confirmation of Enrolment (COE) is an official document issued to international students by Ironwood Institute. The COE is required by the Department of Home Affairs for your student visa application. It confirms that you have accepted a place in a course and have paid your tuition fees and Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC).

 

STEP 6 Apply for your visa

Please refer to Department of Home Affairs website for other requirements to obtain your student visa. You are not able to enter Australia and commence your studies without a student visa. If your student visa is refused, you may choose to re-apply with the consent of Ironwood or apply for refund of tuition fee.

 

STEP 7 Pre-departure information
Once you have received your student visa, you can prepare for your arrival in Adelaide Australia. You will need to book your flights and accommodation. Please ask your education agent and or student support services at Ironwood Institute (admissions@ict.edu.au)  if you need help with Adelaide airport pickup and accommodation arrangements.

The institute will also send you with information regarding your orientation at Ironwood. It is important that you attend orientation for important information regarding your studies and general student life in Adelaide.
