English is an important step towards building a successful career in the global marketplace. Currently, Ironwood offer a range of quality, accredited English programs that enable students to strengthen their reading, writing and spoken English language skills. Ironwood employs highly qualified staff who have specialised qualifications called TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages). The College provides students with the opportunity to learn in an environment which is flexible, interactive and supportive. Students who complete their studies at Ironwood are well placed to either progress into further education or to thrive in their Australian workplaces.
Both the Certificate II and Certificate III in Spoken and Written English courses are run over 2.5 days per week and are internationally recognised. Students studying either of these courses will find that the material used is delivered via a number of unique teaching methods which aim to maximise learning. Such teaching methods often accelerate the student’s ability to learn specific skill sets relating to writing, reading, comprehension, listening and speaking English.
